What's your Car Show Regimen?

RaysWay

With Detail Fest around the corner, I was wondering if any of you Car Show circuit veterans have a specific regimen or plan you follow before attending a car show?

For example:

Do you wash your car the evening prior and apply a fresh coat of carnauba in the morning?

Do you jewel your paint before breakfast?

Or do you bring along a bottle of your favorite quick detailer for a wipedown when you arrive to the show?

List out any steps or specific products you use, or would use if you were attending a judged car show.

If it's a judged show, I spend the night before on a check of all the minor details, such as corners of the glass, wax buildup in seams etc., then apply a coat of a "beauty wax", on the assumption that an overnight cure will maximize the gloss. Once at the show site, it's a final walkaround, usually with a bottle of UWW+ in hand.

Pretty much my routine as well. I tend to use more D115 at the show.

Too tired to write it all up. (getting kids car ready for DF. Don't know when I can do mine)

But I learned my lesson at the Disney Vette show where I got dinged for 2 water spots under the hood.

ok, more than a couple water spots
