B&S Foam Pads....

After the reviews I really want to try these.

But with early stages of CRS or CRAFT, I need a color chart as to what color is what bite by pad type. :(

Here's a link to the B&S page that lists the color/cut of the 5.5" pads--- flat foam pads, flat foam buffing pads, car polishing foam flat pads, DA foam 5.5" pads, flex foam pads, pc foam pads, megs g110 flat foam pads, 5.5" detailing foam pads It's pretty straight forward, but note that the color and cut of the 4" pads does not match the color/cut of the 5.5" pads.

Can't Remember S.....................

Oh...I don't think you have to have that to be confused by pad colors, not only does Lake Country have lines where the colors are basically reversed from other lines of their own, there were the Edge pads that were backwards, etc. etc.

Thanks. See how it's confusing

As if it wasn't bad enough with two different greens, and pink, I could never really understand all the different finishing pad colors...black, blue, red, gold, then we got crimson. That must be why I almost never use finishing pads...

for finishing I just use red in lc, so I don't get confused (old school)

B&S red has absolutely no cut--just for applying LSP--does a great job--very dense (but soft) so allot of product doesn't get loaded in the pad. It's the same foam in their hand applicator pads. Blue and Black are finishing pads.

Cool !!!!

LC finish pads seem to load up big time and quickly

regarding LC, I only use the black pad for finishing , because like you mention their blue and red pads soak up a TON of polish and saturate really fast. the black pad doesnt do that.

Yep. They do !!

This is where being a dinosaur is not good. That's what I'm used to. :(

Gotta try these "new fangled" pads
