What are your *TOP 3* Beauty Waxes

Also, I havent had this happen in a loooooong time, is that im pretty sure I buffed off the wax, but a few days later 1 inch wax residue built up reappeared in certain areas that Im VERY sure I buffed off. I have never had this with other waxes. This was a problem back in the day with some other products such as SG and a few others that had "magically" re-appearing dried residue.

It's actually funny that you mention that because when I look at my paint very very carefully, I can see exactly what you're saying. This is usually eliminated completely after the first wash.

Also, I've been testing my Pete's now for 4 weeks and it's still beading very stronly, with just on layer across the entire truck.

I hope it works out for you in the end. If not, you have tons of potential buyers!

Come to think of it, I really don't think that I had wax residue since I experienced the same with Z2 Pro. I imagine it's very fine dust/pollen laying on the paint in the pattern of the wax in how it was applied. I can only see it when I'm about half an inch away from the paint and then I still have to look really well.

Geez, I forgot I have a stash of Pin. Paste Glaze. I need to use it! I have been trying so many other products I need to go back to the waxes that brought me to the dance.

Since there has been a lot more waxes that came out and what not.

I want to bump this thread to see what everyone still thinks or if minds have changed.

Since I'm a budget baller, I only have some low cost waxes for my list :D

NB - Detailing my Z currently and will be using this over RMG. Suggestions? Comments?

I am wagering that EGZymol Royale is about the sharpest of all of the Zymols. Since I've yet to personally try it, then for me that leaves...

1. EGZymol Vintage

2. EGZymol Concours

3. P21s (very good results for the money).

I'm surprised to hear that you like P21S. I had a tub a couple of years ago and used it many times. Aside from the fact that it was SO easy to use, I still don't understand why people like it so much. It didn't last very long and I found the look to be very unimpressive. I didn't feel there was a lot of depth or wetness there. Personally, I think there are better waxes out there for the same price.

My list goes like this:

1. Zymol Vintage

2. Swissvax Concourso

3. Zymol Concours

Concourso has a bit less depth than Concours, but I give it the edge because it's significantly easier to use and lasts much longer. It also has a bit of a "brighter" shine which I've grown to appreciate on my car since it's a dark silver color.

Mikeyc,

P21s has a nice hard shine when you concentrate the layering for a few months. Also it has (to me) a nice supple shine when applied new; Add to it the ease of application and it quickly became my favorite "daily driver" wax. It did wonders for my black paint, and I heard a few times that it is also good with silver. If you layer P21s progressively then (I've found that) it has good durability; The lighter coatings probably won't last a significant amount of time though. That's not to say that there aren't better waxes out there......in fact I believe I am supposed to try out Victoria this year as a recommendation from somebody.

Who knows.....I may even venture on the wild side and try out Zymol's rival...SV....just to keep myself entertained.

Diesel;

Concours is fantastic...........but wait until you (finally) get a whiff of Vintaaaaaaghhe!
