Zymol wax tips

I have a can of zymol carbon which I bought a while ago and I remember it being very hard to take off the paint. I did a search and people say there is a correct technique for their particular waxes. However I didn't find what this technique is...Does anybody know how I can cut down on the time needed to wax a car with zymol?

I still have 9/10ths of a can left and I might just toss it if I can't figure out how to use it correctly.

Zymol carbon, apply it with a foam applicator pad to a panel, then immediately follow up with a cotton towels and buff off.

Thats the thought that came to my head, not really sure on how to apply it 100%.

I know with Zymol's more expensive waxes (Destiny, Vintage, and Atlantique) you have to apply it with you're hands, one medium/heavy pressure wipe, then come back around 4 hours later with some water and a towel to buff off the remaining residue.

Thin coats will help make buffing it off paint easier, not sure if you let Carbon haze or not, but I would say apply and remove, don't let haze.

I've got Vintage and I found that it was tough to buff off no matter how thin I put it on. It must have more carnauba in it because it goes rock hard if you let it dry on the car for too long.

I have Zymol Creme and yes it is a bear to wipe off if you let it haze. I have had the tub for years and have barely used it but, can't seem to part with it :) I guess it has something to do with the fact that I paid $45 for it :nixweiss

I guess the consensus is to work fast...so how do I tell when the wax has finally bonded to the paint? Is a couple of swipes all it takes for each "line"?

I think with Zymol you are just going to have to deal with it being tough to remove. It doesn't seem to matter how long or short you let it sit there. Its tough either way. Its just the way those high end Zymol waxes are I guess.

Thanks for the help, looks like I'm just going to get some P21S next "season" (I only drive my car in the summer).
