Zymol Titanium

Hi,

So I was browsing the web and across Zymol waxes. Has anybody tried them on their car or silver cars. I am thinking about buying a tub of Zymol Titanium & HD-Clense, I'm simply wondering if they have anything good or bad to say about the stuff. It is expensive, but is it worth it?

Thanks in advance,

Martin

They are good yes but I say skip them. There are far more cost effective products that give the same if not better look the Zymol. Why dont you post what look it is that you are looking for and then we can give you some recomendations as what to purchase. And remember that prep is key, you can buy a $10,000 wax and apply it to an unpreped surface and then give me a $10 bottle of NuFinish and proper prep and my car will look better.

I am basically looking for a VERY wet and deep finish. I am going to get some Zanio stuff to get the flake poping (and also because of this post: http://autopia.org/forum/showthread.php?t=37262&page=1&pp=12). J

ust wanting some oppions on Zymol and how good it is compared to the price, don't it getting much attention on here so I thought I'd ask. :nixweiss

Here are a few pics, I want a better finish than this...

A long time ago I bought a jar of titanium and carbon. They are both nice enough that I won't be buying any other wax until they both run out. I wouldn't buy it again, its wet and kind of deep (I have a lot of orange peel so its kind of hard to tell) but it is just too expensive. If 70$ for some wax doesn't bother you everybody here like souveran.

Zymol makes excellent waxes and glazes. They are also the most expensive waxes that you will find on the market, but they make a wide range of waxes that that are affordable to many users. You will be the only one to really be able to determine whether a Zymol is as good to your expectations as compared with other waxes, so try one and see if it will hold up to a good comparison. You might be surprised.

Just my opinion, having tried just 3 or 4 Zymol waxes, there are a lot better products that cost a heck of a lot less, look better and last longer. Of course this is my opinion

Your results will depend on which Zymol that you've used vs. other glazes. I noticed the difference right away with the zymol model I've used in terms of its intensity when it was applied. To actually measure the difference you would need to compare side -by- side a wax against a zymol and then compare good digital photos against the results. The live comparison will give you a real feeling on which wax "does it for you", but good digital photos will reveal how well and how clear an lsp will develop long range reflections (besides point blank range images).

If you're just talking on its ability, then IMO it will be hard to match a premium Zymol vs. some of the other glazes; However the price of a typical Zymol does put it at a disadvantage as compared with others. If it were a choice between $30-$60 glazes, then you would have a closer comparison between Zymol and the other lsp's. In that price range, I actually prefer p21s/s100 because of its nice results and ease of use. In the area where price isn't a factor, and when the best performance from an lsp is required (given good paint prep), then its been my experience that Zymol has shown its ability in producing the optimal results that I wanted.

But in answering the question on whether this or any Estate Zymol would perform and exceed results against other waxes, then IMO I'd have to say that Zymol has delivered in its results with my cars.

Hi,

:thx all for your oppions on Zymol waxes. I have decided against it, and have just ordered some Zanio products today as I have seen these on silver and they do look awesome so I think I'll try these first. If they don't give me the look I'm after I probably will make Zymol my next stop.

Cheer guys :bigups ,

I have used the Japon and Concours wax. Is it better than Souveran. Just by looking at it maybe just a tad better depth and gloss but its very hard to tell. Is it wourth the money? Japon is $48 and is probably close to it. Will I buy it again? Maybe the Japon. Is it a quality wax? Yes. But I do like the Souveran. Prep with Men. PO85RD and any of the three look great! JMHO

I can definitely attest to the power of Zymol as you've just said. It is good, even with their potent, but overpriced glazes, to experiment. You would be surprised in how much variation different glazes will produce in terms of a wax finish. You may not necessarily get crystal clear optical quality out of all of them, but you can get really sharp and wet looking results from pairing different combinations. It is all about experimenting.

But.........there is a lot in terms of an lsp's ability in defining how good you can achieve a waxed finish, so do experiment, and don't necessarily rule out something just because it carries a king's ransom. The results just might surprise you! Happy waxing...and Zainoing for the naysayers lol!!!
