i tried this wash yesterday thinking it cant be too bad, its just soap it doesnt make that much of a difference (i normally use meguiars gold class)

oh how wrong i was

i did it on an expedition, sprayed it all over (i use the pressure washer spraying thing then rub it with a sponge), cleaned it off, clayed it etc then washed it again, the soap dries all over the car very fast, especially on the windows, it was terrible

i still have spots all over my windows from it, it did an ok job on the paint but the windows are just terrible, i immediately took it back for more meguiars gold class (same price)

to anyone considering buying it i wouldnt, meguiars leaves a much better shine in the end, it suds alot more too making it easy for me to clay (i suds a car down then use the clay bar, using the car was as the lubricant, saves alot of time)

Funny, most people who've used this stuff, including me, like it (run a search here). Is this the blue stuff?

Then again, we don't use it the way you do either..... I encourage you to check out this article found in the Learn! link above if you have not already: Washing & Drying It almost sounds like you are using it in a pro-detailing capacity for a customer? I'm not sure any pro-detailers would try to spray soap solution all over the entire vehicle and then try to wipe it with a sponge. :scared On hot days any soap would dry out too fast, which is one of the reasons why it's better to wash a section at a time.

I bet you'd like the Zymol better if you had used it as a proper bucket (2 bucket actually) wash and not as a pressure wash, which it was not intended to do (and neither was Gold Class actually). I've found the Zymol to be pleasant smelling and offer high lubricity, which is a priority for me.

i do the car in the shade, and i was experimenting on my own car whether or not i want to use it in spray form through the pressure washer or through a bucket, yes i know how to wash and dry a car ;) i just do it differently, with equal results either way i do it

some people think that they do it differently and it's ok. When a car is cool, and the weather is right i find that no matter what soap one uses, it doesnt dry very fast. Ive used zymol soap before, and had good experiences. Same with their cleaner wax.
