It just looks like another version of Klasse, I have not used it, but from what I gather on their site its another arcyrlique sealant. Am I not correct ?

Some people will argue this, I but I consider Zaino to be fundamentally different from any other product because it is a catalyzed (Z1 or ZFX) resin. In terms of performance, Klasse/CarLack/Jeffs Werkstatt and Zaino are a group apart from other sealants/waxes.

I guess you can say it's like Klasse, but it will be much more durable. I have yet to find anything that will outlast Zaino. Furthermore, if you add the ZFX accelerant, you can put on three layers at a time without having to wait 24 hours in between each layer. Application is the same though. "Thin is in."

Zaino and Klasse are sealants that both last quite a long time and produce a wonderful durable appearance. Both, like all LSP's, require meticulous paint prep. After that there are many differences between the 2 systems.

Zaino is a poly-resin based non-acrylic product.

Klasse is an acrylic based product.

Zaino is certified VOC compliant.

Klasse :nixweiss. No one is talking with official status or stated on websites

Zaino is a cross-linking product that is the main activity after application in forming a protective shield. This reaction is catalyzible with ZFX that allows multiple applications (max 3) in one day.

Klasse dries (total evaporation of carrier solvents) and hardens during its curing period of 24 hrs. No catalysis available and only 1 application is allow per directions in 1 day.

Zaino is extremely easy to apply, if applied properly - thin, and buff off.

Klasse can be very troublesome with buffing and residual removal sometimes requiring add steps like QD'ing to even off finish. The Bill North WOWO has eliminated some of this problem but official recognition (Klasse) of this method has not been issued

As mentioned earlier, both Zaino and Klasse are heads and shoulders above other available sealants and if appearance and longevity of such (durability) are part of you equation for paint care, you can not loss with either product. :xyxthumbs

There are rumors buzzing about that both AIO and SG are not as durable as they were before. If you are contemplating between Zaino and klasse, i would go with Zaino until more people test newer batches of klasse.

Duragloss has a Polish Bonding Agent that they claim works with any amino-silicone resin type of product as well- you wouldn't need to go out and buy a whole new series of products.

At the moment, the Duragloss website appears to be down so I looked for products elsewhere.

Are you referring to #601 " Duragloss Polish Prep" ? It took me a minute to conclude they are calling sealants "polishes", I guess for simplicity's sake and the average user.

With regards to Zaino, and perhaps especially so to Klasse, it sounds like a very unique product if it can amplify durability of these types of sealants.

It would be interesting to see some "field experimentation" to find out its actual extent.

I found the listing of Duragloss products here

yes, I'm referring to 601 Polish Prep (PBA). it claims compatibility with any polyamino-silicone polish. (I'm assuming that amino- resin based products fall under this category, possibly TC-3, EXP and other synthetics) Its available at Carquest and costs about $5, certainly cheap enough for experimentation.
