Zaino Z5Pro vs Wet Diamond

I have read and searched several posts where many of you that I know use Zaino have also tried Blackfire Wet Diamond. However, I would like to know from users of both which one performs the best. It's time to order as I am out of Z5 and the Blackfire is getting great reviews from this site and others. But is it really better??? Thoughts?
 
I have been using zaino for at least 7 yrs now. This year I have tried BFWD on a few cars including my wifes BMW. I got 4 months out of BFWD which is nothing to complain about, but I do get 6 months out of Z5pro w/ ZFX x2-3.



It is rare when I have issues with zaino, but BFWD is very easy to apply/remove.
 
It is an opinion on which is better.



I used to use Z5, now I use Blackfire. Havent touched my Z5 bottle since then.



IMO I find blackfire to be deeper, slicker, and more of a head turner.



They both are sealants and are duarable, but I don't like to wait until the very end of the sealants life to reapply, I would do it every 2,3, or 4 months. Depends on the weather, and other factors also.
 
I really like both, but nothing I appreciate more than being able to apply Z5 in the hot Florida sun without any problems.
 
I tried Zaino and ended up selling it because I had issues with it streaking and duribility (ok - that was MY fault, used 106 and didn't do a IPA before Z5) so after a few months I tried again and while my technique was better and the results were very good, I still never got the Z is great feeling. I tried Blackfire and it is like everyone said, easy on, easy off, no issues and slick as snot on a doorknob. When you consider most zaino guys do ZFX and also apply multiple layers, it no surprise that Z lasts a little longer, but hey, BF is so easy to use I could apply every few months and still come out cheaper and spend less time than zaino.
 
Thanks for the responses they answer alot of my questions. However, can anyone tell me about the look between the two? I have a black car and I love the Zaino shine but I would like a little more depth. Does BFWD offer up a little more depth? Some say yes others say no. It's confusing.



Rasky, didn't you do a hood test with Zaino and BFWD? I think I read this somewhere but didn't see a write up on the look of each???

I guess another way to look at it is if the look is the same and its easier to apply and remove, and you only lose about a month of durability, the BF seems to be the way to go.

Yes, I have a hood sitting out in the elements right now with BF, Z2, and Z5 on it. haven't looked at it since I put it out there though. :D



Visually I couldn't see a difference between them. maybe I'll bring it in and wash it this weekend since it may actually reach 50 degrees!!! :D



I recently had a customer I did two cars for. The first was a Honda Element to which I aplied 1 coat of BF, and the second was an Accord that got 3x of Z2. The owner came back at a later date to have a panel sealed that was repainted and I asked him which he liked better. Hands down he prefered the BF. I actually gave him 3oz of black fire to try out too. ;)



Now of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but he really liked the slick feel of BF. He also said the car seems to stay cleaner looking much longer than before. (Previously used S100)



In terms of looks and durabilty you really can't go wrong with either IMO. It all comes down to ease of use and feel, which really is a no brainer.

I have a black car and recently detailed a black S500 MB, owner commented that the paint felt like glass and asked about getting his wife's Volvo detailed. Like Rasky said, looks are in the eye of the beholder, but I'm favoring BF.
