can you combine Zaino Z8 with Natty's paste wax?

or Zaino Z2 pro with Natty's paste wax?

the way that I think is that i would probably benifit protection wise and shine as well from both.

does it make any sense to you?

interesting....

so it would be un necessary?

I am torn between Z2 pro and Natty's paste wax

now my car is white, If I read Poorboy's site, I would simply get the clear wax and not the blue one.

I am still looking for a good wax, I have a new car, 1 month old mazda 3 2008

CG xxx hardcore wax, Natty's paste wax, Z2 pro (which seems not to be a wax), shining monkey D-spec

looking for protection durability as well as good shine and wet look.

my method will be wash, dry, perhaps polish, and wax, all by hand.

Z2 will have greater durability than NB. And I bet to common folk (non-detailers) the shine produced by both will look similar on white.

I've owned 2 white cars over the years. Not exactly the best color for mirror finishes and depth. In my opinion on white, I always tried to get the gloss factor as high as possible (polishing/sealant). And I also wanted the finished product to stay that way as long as possible. Pick: Z2 Pro

Honestly, if you are going to use a sealant, I'd stick with sealant compatible products. Z8 works very well over Z2 or Z5 and won't cause any issues should you decide to put on more Z2/5 in the future.

If you want a carnauba look, IMO you need a glaze base for best results, not a sealant.

since I am new to this...

when I read different posts, articles. i hear that carnuba gives the best shine.... protection however does not last longer than 70 to 90 days. (there may be white residue issues)

polymers or synthetic, gives a good shine, longer protection.

still don't know what to get. Zaino z2 gets alot of positive reviews.

natty blue does as well however my car is white. I would be willing to try the clear or white natty paste. I'm open to other waxes, it is just that i can't see myself spend an incredible amount of money on expensive waxes such as CG 50/50, pinnacle souveran.....

right now I am definitly thinking of Natty's paste wax, CG xxx hardcore carnuba wax,

black magic shine wet liquid wax which received #1 in consumer's report.

curious about shinning money's liquid carnuba wax.

I just see alot of great work being done here on autopia and I think since My car is new, I want to keep it looking new for as long as I can. and protect for the winter.

I would like to pick one and get it right and not spend 150$ on waxes to discover the one that i prefer.

Scottwax, I just saw your work on a white Carrera, it looks very nice!

I have a white Mazda 3.

now you mentioned

Pink Moose plus

Carnauba Moose wax

are these products that you honestly recommend?

If your looking for winter durability i'd suggest using the Z-2 and then topping it with Collinite 476. It would give you a good polymer base and a good looking durable wax for added long lasting protection over it.

I wouldn't use them on a client's car if I wouldn't recommend them. I often use that combo on my own car.

You can't do Pink Moose plus because I'm not telling what I add to the regular version of Pink Moose which is Clearkote's Vanilla Moose and Red Machine Glaze. However, the regular Pink Moose will give pretty much the same look, just won't have quite as much cut when polishing.

ok! thanks...

right now I am thinking of using

after washing and drying

-werkstat Prime carnuba,

either

Carnauba Moose Wax

or

P21S 100% carnauba

all applied by hands. and you think i should be good in terms of protection (especially winter), with the appearance as well, you know, shine , gloss, some wet look........ (I know it is a white car and there is a limit to it)
