Zaino Z-8

I've seen so many beautiful and expensive cars on this site that I thought it appropriate to show a hillbilly ride.

We love our trucks here in the south.

Topped with Zaino Z-8. We'll see how well it repels dust and pollen.

Very nice. What process and products did you use prior to Z-8? I just used Z8 for the first time today on my dad's GS that I had applied 2 layers of reg Z2 2 weeks ago. Z8 is awesome, the look afterward was simply AMAZING!

Hillybilly my a$$ that is a beautiful truck. The wheel wells look fantastic!

OffTopic - Your last name is Osborn? My BF's last name is that, where are you from?

I could not agree more!

Also, on or an aside note....just where in the south are you? Since this is your first post could you not go to the signature or avitar area and state your location in the south?

That there's no HillBilly neighborhood!! I was expecting to see some sheep, goats, chickens & cows. ( Or do they have their own bedroom? ) Welcome to Autopia!! Nice detail! :bow

Looking back at the pics may I make just one suggestion? I think you should take the dealer sticker off the tailgate. I hate when dealer stickers are on the back of cars. You are doing free advertisement for them and IMO its an eye sore for such a beautiful truck.

I appreciate everyoneâ€â„¢s compliments. I actually love doing this when I can find the time.

Process used:

Wash + Dry (mainly heavy pollen and dust)

Paint - Z6, Z5, Z8, Z2-Pro, Z8, Z2-Pro, Z8 (by hand)

Rims â€â€œ Z2-Pro, Z8

Tires â€â€œ Z16, topped using Turtle Wax Prof Tire Dressing (wiped down excess)

Born in Havre de Grace, Maryland, raised in Northwestern NC. Worked and lived in Columbia SC last 20 years.

Truck looks outstanding!

Don't touch your paint with a metal razor blade. They make plastic razor blades that would help, but I would see if you could get it off with a hair dryer and your fingers. Something like 3M Wax and Adhesive remover may aid you.

I whole heartily agree about the dealer sticker. Will a razor blade peel it up off the paint?

Ack!!! Don't use a razor blade! Just let it sit out in the hot sun for a few hours and the dealer sticker should come right off. At least mine did. There was some residue that I removed with 50/50 isopropanol/water. Then you should re-Zaino that area.

Nice hillbilly truck there.

Thank's for the advice. I don't think I could have gone through with it, if everyone had said to go with the razor. My hand would've been shaking so bad and the sweat would of been flowing and we all know what would have happened next.

:bow Looks great. I'm hearing great things about the Z-8 product.

P.S. Please visit our Atlanta and Southeast region detailing event if you have a chance. I hope to have it sometime in May. I'll post details in the Hot Tub forum or you can PM me.

I thought that you had that ths weekend?

Man, that is one sweet looking truck!!

Great Z job you did!:bow

The wheels, tires, and wheelwells look great, how old is that truck? It looks as though it's a garage queen that's never been driven!

Great job, again.
