This car was last seen in late October. I one stepped it with a Z-AIO Beta-Version, that I have been told is very close to the final product.
Fast forward 5 months……
Here’s what showed up this afternoon for a Spring cleaning.
It's for a retired neighbor, so no charge for this one (but I did get a nice tip).
My plan was to wash, clay, and use the Zaino-Triplets (ZAIO, CS, Z8).
Process Used:
Wash: Z7
Wheels & Wells: Hi-Temp Tire and Wheel Cleaner & brushes.
I had my yellow bug-scrubber block on hand to tackle the tar build-up on the lower panels. To my surprise, Z7 & my wash mitt took care of business. I’ve consistently found Zaino treated vehicles are easier to maintain. Are others noticing this too?
After the wash, it was clear that ZAIO’s lifespan was nearly over. The tight & tall beads were starting to sag. All things considered ZAIO held its own in the NE winter because we’ve seen our fair share of salt trucks this season. :bigups
Polish & Protect:
I had to spot clay a few panels, nothing crazy.
ZAIO via Cyclo & LC CCS polishing pads (paint, glass, trim, lighting)
ZAIO applied by hand on some of the lower trim pieces, and wheels
Z6 wipe down
CS x 1 (CS dried in about 15 minutes today. It was in the low 60’s)
Z8 final wipe down on the paint, glass, trim, lighting, and wheels.
Z16 x 1 on the rubber, NL on the wells.
The interior was cleaned with Optimum APC, and protected with Z16.
A few after shots.
The entire process took about 4 hours, including a few Miller-Lite breaks :chuckle:
