Zaino spot application.

I found a new scratch on the hood of my GN today! :angry

Could just feel it with my finger nail! I washed the car and then spot treated the scratch with Menzerna IP/4" white pad and then finished with Menzerna FPII/4" white pad. the spot I covered was about 1' by 1'. I then finished it off with Z5. I applied the Z5 straight from bottle, no Z1 or ZfX. I let it dry about 1/2 hour and removed. It looks fine and blended with surrounding area well.

Will the Z work with no ZFX or Z1? It was such a small area I didn't feel like mixing up 2 squirts! I figured what the hell, give it a try.



What do you Z guys do for spot work like this?
 
I dont know about the Z, but sorry to hear about the scratch. I hope it came 100% out. I've seen pics of your car, its very nice. I have always loved those things.

Since this is your garage queen and probably never driven in bad weather this Z5 application without Z1 or ZFX will probably work as a cosmetic repair.





For small spot repairs I normally use Z1, Z5 and follow the next day with Z2-PRO.
