Zaino questions

This is my SO's 2004 Accord which is a daily driver, park under the Nor Cal sun 7 days a week. I had been using #9, then, VM, then CMW with very good shine and smooth surface. However, this combo doesn't last very long. In fact, the last time I waxed it with CMW was about three weeks ago and yesterday when I was the car, the beading was like 20% when compare to just my 97 Teg with 3 layers of Z-2.

I am planning for switching from VM & CMW to Zaino because Zaino provide longer protection. However, I want to probaly get rid the swirl marks on my accord before I use Z-2, note, I have Z-5 also, but I don't think it does anything to hide the swirl marks. So, what should I use to get rid of the swirl marks before Zaino?

I will:

1. wash

2. Clay bar

3. #83 DCAP? probably pass because the swirls are very light.

3. #9?

4. Z-2??

5. Top with CMW? Z-2 is a dust magnet so I want a thin layer of CMW to top it off, and I love the silky smooth feeling of CMW.

Will Z-2 bond on surface with #9 treatment??

Start out with the #9 first, do a alcohol wipedown to see if you have removed it. If not, either do another pass with #9, or step up to dacp. Use the least aggressive method first.

Once your done polishing, I would probably just wipe it down with alcohol and then rinse the car off and dry before you use z-2.
