I won some Z-2 Pro, Z-1 Polish Lok, Z-7 Car Wash and Z-6 Gloss Enhancer at an Auto show last week. However, there wasn't any ZFX in the package. Can I use the Z-2 Pro without the ZFX Additive? I've never used Zaino before and would like to try it out.
 
Yes. Just apply a thin layer of Z1 over the entire vehicle. The Z1 does not have to dry. Apply a thin layer of Z2-Pro directly over the drying Z1. Allow the combo to dry (may take up to an hour).

Buff off. You can apply another layer of Z2-PRO in 24 hours (next day). Z1 should only be used every 8-10 coats or twice a year for a daily driver.

So after I do the Z1 and Z2-Pro, I can apply another coat of Z2-Pro again without doing the Z1 again within 24 hours.

I like that because then I won't waste any product or have to mix anything. :)

My vehicles are always garaged so they will stay pretty clean for application the next day.
 
It is worth it, in the future you will want some ZFX. You can probably add 3 more coats of Pro by itself for great results by itself after you applied first coat with z1. It seams you already know you do have to wait on cure times, about 8 hours.
