I was watching Unique Whips on Speedvision they were showing inside the shop and what do they show but four bottles of Z-6 Ultraclean Gloss enhancing spray on a bench enhancing spray knew what it was before the camera panned around it . LOL

Only time I've ever seen Zaino on there was in the trunk of a customer's Black Corvette.



I choke every time I see them "wash" a car. Its more like hard scrubbing with a generic mitt.
 
If they keep showing that girl they had on last night’s show washing cars there’ll be a different kind of choking going on… :o
 
Yeah, they're definitely big on the Armor-All. I remember one show where the employee almost seemed like he was hawking the stuff.



And the wash technique...ugh! :rolleyes: At least the girl was instructed not to use a mitt that fell on the floor. That's the only positive thing I saw.
 
Do they actually detail the cars? I've seen them wash it a few times but it just seemed like all they did was wash it.

When they get serious they wash by hand instead of the coin-op. I'm not impressed with their work.

that was an old show. she later gets fired lol sorry if I ruined it for you.





oh yeah.........

everything they do on that show is crap. The so called high end audio systems include the lowest end of JL subs (other than when they use W7). They spray paint interiors! 20" Giovana wheels, Pirelli tires.............This is not worth the $30,000 Ive heard quoted.
 
Yeah that Zaino came out of the vette I believe. As everyone else said, I think they suck!



When Val was washing that Ferrari and dropped the mitt, Will just had her rinse it and use it again! I would never do that!!



A guy I know was on that show because a manufacturer donated a piece of equipment. I guess he was the distributor and went there for delivery. HE said it was such a joke because they would do retakes and stuff. Totally rehearsed crap!



I can't believe people actually pay those prices and get totally ripped off! Has anyone seen WILL's new house? Yeah, let's just say his profit margin is higher then most because there is now way he is swinging that house on LI with robbing people! Taxes alone on the place are probably around 50-70K a year!

Well, pretty much every TV show is going to be the same way. It's funny to watch outtakes from some shows like home improvement ones where it looks like they are just filiming the guys working, when really they mess up a lot and do retakes to get it to look good. Crap, even "reality" shows are rehearsed. That's just the nature of the beast I guess.
 
They build automotive atrocities. Their projects pay little respect to the vehicle. itself. They think nothing of increasing the unsprung weight by 50lbs per corner (!) and loading the trunk with 3/4" MDF in a car engineered for performance. Their interiors look like a lobby in a Thai brothel, except done with less taste.
