Hi guys, I'm glad to have found a website where detailing is the main issue, I can finally get the help I need from people who know what they're talking about.
So on to my question, I've been looking around for products for detailing my car, it's seen a little wear and tear over the years (I only got it about 2 months ago) and I would like to try and restore some of the new look to it, the paint has been moderately scratched, mostly on the trunk lid and a bit on the sides but nothing serious, and there are some nicks in the hood that need addressing but that we can leave for later.
My objective is to deepen the color and hide the swirls, and finally give it a nice shiny finish
I'm going to clay bar the car first, this I already have, but after that I want to give it the works. SO...what products would you guys recommend for a job like this? there is zaino's Z5 which I was considering buying, but for the price plus the ZFX, I don't think it's going to help much for the money I'd be dishing out. A multi-step ?polish?, glaze and/or seal, and final wax may be what the doctor ordered and have a better value, but there are so many different brands of those products that I don't dare just go out and buy stuff for each phase, I'd like to know what you guys recommend. Also, where can you get each product?
can Z5 be applied over an already glazed surface to bring out more depth and shine? I know zaino really gives a nice shine but doesn't bring out the depth in a color like an oily wax will...
your comments please, and thanks in advance!

PS, I'll be working on a 95 dark red saturn sedan.
