Zaino Or AquaWax On Granite?

Just was on autogeekonline and a guy used a sealant on his granite. It looked GREAT I am always trying to get the best shine our of my granite because it is black. So i was thinking maybe i can use zaino or AW to help with the shine/slickness. I use method now it does work OK but does not help with slickness. I actually have a granite product that is a wax, you spray it on then let it haze then buff off but i dont like the look.

I'd like to hear what you guys think about car products that can be used on granite. Diesel, I would probably do Zaino topped with AW. That wouldn't be a bad combo :)

I'd be concerned that any wax would stain granite but since it's black it might not be an issue. I'd suggest Zaino. I tested some Z2pro(without ZFX) on clay pottery and it worked fine.

I am gonna try ZAIO on my granite. I just hope it won't be too slick. I used 425 to make it shine and it did that, but things were sliding off and everywhere. I want to z5 it bad, but I am holding myself back. Maybe CS.

It's amazing on how great our detail tools and products work in homes. I have to pc my shower this weekend. Stinks I have 3 bathrooms. I can't wait to get my vapor steamer. It will be a touchless toilet cleaner. I want to start a business detailing insides of homes.

humm...wonder if it will work for regular counter tops. My counters are look a bit dull...might give it a show.

I've used sealants on formica and solid surface materials with very good results. The increased slickness makes general cleanup such as wiping down the countertop much easier. However, I wonder about durability. More specifically, disinfectant products commonly used in kitchen and bath applications generally contain pretty strong solvents to cut grease. Wouldn't this also remove the sealant with relative ease?

so now I am going to use car sealants where I put food? No way. They make products for granite (kitchen) for this very reason. I am not messing with my granite, stains, messing with sealer, clarity, color etc. Be careful on this one......

I agree. If I could find a cheaper products then what I use now, I would be all over it. Problem is when I put q 8lb chicken on the granite I do not want to worry about what did I use to seal it.

I use: (they sell it at home depot too, not all though)

Marble, Granite, Ceramic Tile, Grout, Corian and Stone Care Cleaners and Sealers by SCI. at Stone Care International

That is the same stuff I use, and like it very much. We have a huge kitchen and it is completely granite...As well is our large masterbath. All counters, tub surrond area, etc..This stuff works very well.
