Zaino on metallic green?

I've got a metallic green '95 GMC Sierra as my daily driver, and it's been a while since I've done a full detail on it. I have DACP and #9, so I'm thinking I'll hit it with those, but as much as I enjoy reapplying wax every three weeks on my T/A, I'd like something really durable on the truck.

I have two half used bottles of Z2 and Z5, along with some Z1 from a friend that used to be a Zaino user, but now cares more about HP than appearance. ;) Back to the point, does anyone have any good pics of Zaino on metallic green, GM, specifically?

Here ya go!

I honestly can't remember, but I'm pretty sure that those were taken after 2 or 3 coats of Z5. Wash/clay/Zaino (this was before I had my PC, now I use VM + EX-P topped with S100) :xyxthumbs

I will investigate, but I'm just trying to use what I have. In addition to Zaino I also have #26 (which I use on my car) and DC wax. I'll probably end up using the Zaino since it's in my possesion and my biggest concern with the truck is durablility. The Pinnacle looks interesting for when I replace the truck though (I figure I'll probably get metallic gray or silver).

I don't have any pics, but I have had Zaino on my dark green RAV4 for several years, and it looks great.

I would have no reservations about using the Z2 and Z5 that you have on the dark green car.

Since it's metallic you should read up on Pinnacle Signature Series...its made especially for Metallic Paints

I'm not doubting you, but what makes one wax work better on metallic?
