Zaino in Atlanta??

Well I just bought a new 2002 Dodge Ram Quad Cab ( Silver) and its about a month old and I figure it's time for it's first waxing. I think Im going to take the Zaino rought. I have been reading alot in here the last few days and people realy seem to like it with the lighter color cars and trucks.

I'm going to:

1) Wash it with some Z-7

2) Then put a coat of Z-1 (Dont buff it off )

3) Then Z-2

4) Then Z-6

How does that sound. The only thing I'm not sure about is the Zaino ClayBar. Do you think I will need it on a New truck with 1,000 mile on it??

Then my main question. Does anyone know where I can buy Zaino in the Atlanta GA area???

Thanks...:xyxthumbs

I just sent him an E-mail. Just thought Id ask in here because I figured Id get a faster responce. Im just hoping to be able to do it this weekend.

Normally you wouldn't think that a one month old car with only a thousand miles would need to be clayed, but it really depends on the condition of the surface. If the truck was sitting on the dealer's lot for any length of time, it could have surface contamination which the clay bar would correct. Check it out for yourself - put your hand in a plastic sandwich bag and feel the surface of your paint. If it isn't perfectly smooth, you should clay the thing before you apply the Zaino. If it needed it, you'll be glad you did.

Well for anyone else living in Atlanta her is the answer I got from the E-mail to zaino.

Digitalden , I live in Macon and I order mines directly from Sal. If mail my order today 7/17 I would have probably have it by 7/24 or 7/25. so there is a pretty quick turn around.

Digitalden: Did you ever recieve a respons from them about possible Atlanta dealers? Just wondering if the only way to acquire was mail order...

Thanks!

Robert

Carolina Shine is the closest distributor to GA. There isn't a distributor in GA which is why I posted the info about Carolina Shine.

You can write a check, fill out a form, mail it, and wait a week or so to get your product from NJ. Or you can call Carolina Shine, use a credit card, and get it in a day or two.

The prices are the same.

Eckler's Sells Zaino and has overnight shipping available. Check www.ecklers.com. They are located in Florida. Should be not problem with having your Zaino by Saturday.

If unable to get this week. Ultra prep your finish this weekend, apply a non-abrasive carnuaba if truck is a daily drive to protect next week, wash with Dawn and apply Zaino next weekend. The better the prep the better the Zaino results. :wavey

Hey I just wanted to thank everyone for the replies and help. I just went ahead and sent a order and check to Zaino in NJ. I can wait another week to do it. Its going to be in the mid 90's this weekend anyway, too hot.

Thats weird that you found a distribitor in Atlanta when Zaino told me there wasnt... Oh well
