Zaino/Duragloss

I stopped by Car Quest today to check out some of the Duragloss products. I bought a bottle of Aquawax to test it out on top of Zaino. My last Zaino application was probably 3 weeks ago. That consisted of 2 coats of Z5.



Today I did your basic wash than applied one coat of AW. I was really happy with the results. Here are a few pics:

Black is so tough so get right, and you definitely got that one right... Z5 looks great and the topper makes it looks very nice & wet.

Really?! Then that means your truck is detailed so well that even an old camera can make it look AMAZING :)

i've seen some cool results with that duragloss, my friend has a deep blue Mazda3, and he hard-waxes then spraywaxes, the spraywax he uses is the duragloss one, and it looks really nice
 
I looked online for zaino and caem across a site for a company that claims their product is better. It is called Ultima. It is very expensive for any of their products. $70 a bottle? That obsurd. Anyone have any experience with this? Also how long does the shine last with the Aquawax?
 
That paint looks DEEP man... thats a great find... definitely noting that a couple of coats of z5 topped with AW makes it look real deep... may have to give it a try on the next onyx black GM I detail.

The administrator of this forum sells the Ultima products. The point that many people miss is that an Ultima application is used very sparingly, and thus the per use cost is close to that of many other boutique waxes.



I haven't tried Ultima myself, but I'd definitely say it's on top with products like Zaino.
 
great looking truck. wait til you see it tomorrow. i don't know why but after i apply aw, the next day it looks even better.:werd:

I forgot to add, before I applied the AW and misted/wiped the truck down with some Z6. Not sure if that made a difference or not.
