Zaino dries clear?

I've heard that if you get Zaino on rubber or in cracks, it won't show as white because it dries clear -- unlike regular car wax. The difference being that it is a "sealant".

True? Doesn't it "haze" when dry?

Zaino hazes, but it is very hard to see the product on light colored cars. Even on black it's hard to see.

It's also recommended that it be applied in VERY THIN coats, which makes it even harder to see. (one ounce does your entire car!)

And, if it gets on the trim, you can't really see it. I usually just buff of the trim while I'm buffing the rest of the car. It certainly can't hurt anything.

true - it really doesn't haze. on my white car - I pretty much can't see it when I apply it, can see it just a tiny bit more when it dries, (I've had people ask if there really was anything on the car when I was applying Zaino to it - it takes a trained eye to see it on white), but people sure can see the shine when done. Is your 50th the red anniversary color? :wavey

Yeah, it is tough to see on white, I just went over my grandparents' white '94 Aerostar, and at times couldn't tell if anything was going on. The results, though are amazing, even for a vehicle that has never been waxed or had a sealant applied.

Yeah, my vette is the (dark) red AE color. I'm considering having the 3M clear film put on and am concerned about wax showing along the edges. I thought that Zaino might be better if it doesn't produce a white haze... that is, there would be little (or less) residue to clean off along the edges.

wow, you guyz with the white cars are brave. Mine is a darkish blue (sig).

This past Saturday I went down to the wire (darkness). Was out there with a flashlight. It was a lot easier to see the haze with the flashlight than the sunlight.....weird. That and headlights from another car.
