Zaino Cure Time

I will be applying Zaino Z2 this weekend. I also have Zaino Z5 lying around. Should I bother applying the Z5 after Menzerna and before Z2? Or should I just do Z2? If i was to apply both using ZFX......would i have to wait to apply the Z2 till next week if I applied the 3 coats of Z5. Ive read only 3 coats max of Zaino per day or something. Im sorry if its all confusing...but everyone seems intel. enought to figure it out..

You can go right to Z2 after getting the finish the way you like it (swirl removal). Z5 has a slightly different look though and seems to be a "thicker polish" and build up coats quick, so experiment.



3 coats a day is the rule.....otherwise it becomes so slick it has trouble bonding to itself. I would space the 3 coat campaigns out a week or two, but thats just my opinion. A few washes, towelings, wind abrasion from driving,etc will give the new coats a better bite. When and if new swirls develop, grab Z5, most of the time they are in the sealant layer and are easily filled..........

It never hurts to lay down a coat or two of Z5 even if finish appears flawless.



You can apply 3 coats (ZFX enhanced polish) of either product on day 1 and follow with 3 coats the next day.



You can also just mix up enough Z5 for 2 coats and top this with un-ZFX Z2 in 1 day. This last coat of Z2 needs at least 24 hrs of curing before applying another layer.
