Z8 over UPP?

I did a search but couldn't find anything so I aplogize if this has been covered.

I very satisfied with the way UPP makes the flake stand out on my silver car, but was looking for something to make it look a tad wetter. Has anyone tried using Z8 over UPP or something similar?

If not, can you make some reccomendations?

Thanks.

UPPGE?

This product was designed to enhance wetness for UPP protected finish. I discovered from my testing of a sample kit that UPPGE works very well for a QD.

Huh, didn't even know that product existed. Anyone have any pic examples?

I've got the Sonus Acrylic Spritz and it does a nice job getting the dirt etc off, but I'm looking for more wetness.

4*UGE will out gloss Sonus Acrylic Spritz. I have both and like both very much (Z8 is my favorite because my vehicles are protected by Z2-PRO).

I believe you will be quite happy with your UPP QD'd with 4*UGE.

I think ExcelDetail carries this product line.

Z8 will look good initially but it wont bond and maintain the slickness and gloss. Z8 is designed to work with the Zaino system. "it actually bonds and cross links to Z2 or Z5" thats straight from Sal.

Cool. Thank you guys for the info, I'll definately be giving that gloss enhancer spray a shot.

Here's another question for ya. I detailed my car last week. If I wash it, can I apply another coat of UPP afterward?

Thought of another question as well. If you have a dark colored vehicle and you use UPP, would you be better off using the gloss enhancing spray, or a wax such as natty's blue?

Ok more questions from me. Been doing a little more searching and I think I may just re-detail my car next Thursday or Saturday. A couple questions though. I'm looking for a wetter look for sure, and was thinking about this combo:

AIO

RMG (buying a sample off ebay, seems like good stuff) - Do you apply this the same way as AIO?

UPP

Natty's/4* gloss enhancer

Now, would I need Natty's if I decided to top it with the Gloss enhancer? Also, can Natty's blue be used on lighter vehicles?

Z8 has worked fine for me over OCW, DP's sealant (seems very similar to UPP) and Acrylic Jett and the improved slickness hangs on at least two weeks. Is it bonding? I don't know but it is holding up well. Z8 is definitely worth trying even if you use a non-Zaino sealant.

Of course Sal is going to say Z8 really only bonds and crosslinks with Zaino products. He'd be nuts not to. All product manufacturers except Poorboys seem to suggest that their products work best within their system. Poorboy's is really the only one I can think of that actually says their products are compatible with most other product lines. If I made and sold detailing products, I'd prefer people buy all the products from me instead of mix and match.

Ah, well Mr. Scottwax what would you suggest I try? :D Z8? Or something different?

I'd try Z8 if you don't mind the $20 initial price. Should be enough to do your car about 25-30 times. Just remember, it isn't a QD so don't use it unless the car is clean.

I can't promise the effects will last as long over UPP as Z2 or Z5 but use it a couple times a month and you should be pretty happy with it.

Cool, looks like I'll give it a try.

I'll probably pick up that other stuff as well, and do a panel each.

Thanks for the advice!

I myself wouldnt bother with AIO and RMG.

And i wouldnt bother with UPP and Natty's. I know alot of people do, but i would just RMG and Natty my ride. Or UPP it.
