First off, glad to be back on autopia after months of hiatus. Back injuries requiring surgery are never easy to recover from.
Anyways, I stumbled upon this method and may never go back. Here's what I did.
I may never go back to "zaino'ng" in the original manner.
Just last weekend, I was really short on time. My car had this done.
Had existing layers of z2 pro on it
Washed with my usual Poorboys Slick car wash
dried with my big blue
simply sprayed on a layer of Optimum Spray wax, wiped it in using MF towel
simply sprayed on a layer of Z8 , wiped in it using MF towel,
et voila.. my car was done !
I know, I dont' have any pics uploaded, but really, the depth and slickness was all there.
For those old schoolers, it actually turned out more like Wolfgang's "dipped in salad oil" look, as opposed to the pure zaino depth.
But for the time I saved, and the EASE of use, I don't think Im ever going back to a NON spray wax (polish) as its really went beyond my expectations.
just thought I'd share this..
