Z5pro + Zfx + Z8??

Hey guys... I read in a thread that adding 2-3 sprays of Z8 into your Z5/zfx mixture is a good idea. Granted Z8 is expensive, I'm curious if many of you out there have found this practice to be worth while? Opinions?

I tried it, I didn't like it. I found it made the Z5Pro + ZFX mix very thick and gloopy. I prefered to use the Z8 as a seperate step.

I read someone did the shot of Z8 with Z5 and/or Z2 into the mixing bottle. My experience is that it is worth it. My impression is that I can really get a thinner coat with a squirt of Z8. It seems to be slicker as well. I would just try it... doesn't hurt.

Sergei, I came to the same conclusion but only used a 1/2 squirt. Thinner application and if allowed to remain on paint for 30 mins or more it seems to leave very little residual to buff off (result of thinness of applied product).

I finally ran out of Z8 last week. I just placed an order of AW as my replacement. I hope I dont have bonding issue on top on z5pro or CS.

AW will not have bonding issues. I dont think it is quite as good as Z8, but still a great product.

after a wash there shouldn't be an issue with AW but I'd suggest using ZFX with Z2pro just in case.

Should have no problems, just a change in appearance from Z8 but still good.

Just wash prior to layering and Z sealants with or without ZFX will bond. AW doesn't bond (integrate itself into the Zaino crosslink matrix) with Zaino so displacement by washing is quite easy.

One squirt/pull into how much of the Z5P/ZFX mixture? I usually only mix a half ounce of either Z5P or Z2P and ZFX.
