Z Plumr Gets Facelift

I had done this 2010 370z with Finest two years ago and he wanted it spruced up. Some sections (the sides mostly) were holding up well but not so much on the rest. I think that`s good performance after 2 years. It was in for Finest again (this time the new Pro version) with a one step polish, but some areas needed more.

Here is the car as it arrived to me:

First up was the wheels. The wells were cleaned with LATA and the tires with Zep 505 and the faces and barrels with Zep Citrus and Megs HW and a demoted wash mitt. I shot the barrels with Aqua Bead which is like Hydro.

The car was then brought in and clayed with a clay towel. The paint got M100 + black wool (3M) + 3401 to bring back the flake. I had to be prudent as some paint readings were in the low 80`s. That stage was followed up with a yellow B/S pad + M205 and the final stage was Essence + white CP gloss pad. I was looking forward to seeing the gloss from Pro! I double coated the wheel faces, paint, head and tail lights and side and rear glass. I also double coated the windshield with Forte. The tires were shot with Opti Bond from an air gun. Here it is getting its sun tan:

Here we go:

Very nice work, flake looks great. Only wish in this case Nissan would have paint the handles the same as the body.
