Z-PC worked great with my PC

Well, Diane and I thought we'd have a nice relaxing weekend in Mystic and Foxwoods. On the Ferry ride home, someone must have tried to squeeze in between my car and the car in front with something like a suitcase, because when I got home I found this present waiting for me.

This car is my daily driver and though I try to keep it as nice as possible, the inconsiderate people in the world make it difficult. Looking on the bright side though, it would give me a chance to try the Z-PC I got.

First I misted the pads with Z6. I did one pass with an Orange Pad on the PC on 5.5, then I did one pass with a white pad on 5, then a final pass with a white pad on 4.

This is the after:

I was very happy with the polish. It worked in a good time before dusting. I dont know how it will perform doing an entire car, but worked great as a spot fix with the PC. When the new Makita shows up, I'll try it and see how it works with it as well.

Thanks for the little review. Sorry to hear yoyur car was scratched, by someone who did not even leave note.

Nice finish, great to know that things like that are fixable with a PC, I'm getting better with my Mak but I still hate doing vertical panels. I hate it when people are inconsiderate in parking lots, I freaked out at someone in a parking lot when they put their foot up on MY bumper to tie their shoe, they won't be doing that again. Why can't people just be content with F-ing up their own cars.

Thanks guys. I was able to keep my cool AFTER the scratches came out. In my rant when I first found it, Diane said I came out with a few new curses she never heard me say (after 16 years together, I figured she'd heard them all by now :naughty ).

What really bothered me most is that if you look at the original scratches, what ever they tried to squeeze through did not fit and got stuck. Instead of just trying to push it back out gently (and maybe less damage), they just pulled it straight up hard. At the very top of the bumper, a big piece of paint chipped off as well. I had to use touch up and wet sand before I polished.

They pull you so close together on the ferry, I don't know how anyone could think they could squeeze something between bumpers, you can barely fit your legs between. But I guess if you are selfish enough to try, being too lazy to lift whatever it was just follows suit.....
