The polishes I have used have all seemed to work pretty good.
The vehicles I use them on are not usually in very bad shape so the polish really doesn't have to do too much correcting. Since I only use a PC, I pretty much stay with the less aggressive products.
1. Poorboy's SSR2.5 and Meguiar's #83 are the most aggressive I have and they are used only in the area needed. I have never had to do an entire vehicle with them.
2. Meguiar's #80 seems to do a good job on a vehicle that does need some overall correction.
3. The Montana and the GTP can usually be cleaned up pretty good with something like Klasse AIO, Optimum Poli-Seal or Poorboy's PwS.
The Klasse AIO is more of a chemical cleaner than a true polish. The Poli-Seal and the PwS both seem to work about the same and seem to be what I use most often.
Recently, I have been polishing with the Poli-Seal and wiping off the residue with Duragloss Aqua Wax. After I next wash the vehicle, I have been using Optimum Opti-Seal as my LSP and just hit it with more AW after one or two washes.
Both the AW and the Opti-Seal are very easy to use.
I know that some people have reservations about the WOWA use of products like Opti-Seal, but I find myself becoming more of a fan of it all the time.
The AW is a good "freshen" up product, but I don't think I would use it as my true LSP.
As usual, I wrote a book and managed to get quite a ways from the original topic.
