Your Next Car

Y'all are probably tired of hearing me say it but Hyundai has been great to me. I can put aside the perceived cheapness of the interior plastics and small patches of peeling clearcoat on my '04 Santa Fe but where it matters (mechanically), the car has been solid as the Rock of Gibraltar. I can't even think of considering another brand for the moment.

I never see myself getting rid of this car but my vision of her eventual successor in daily driver status is changing. Initially I was going to go for another Santa Fe but with all the niceties; leather, sunroof, etc. I'm now slowly starting to lean towards one of these in either Bathurst Black or Nordschleife Gray (as seen here).

So...what might your next vehicle be?

I've seen a turbo'd model of that car its complete sex the power is awsome bu tits downfall FWD other than that the design is great and the gas milage on the turbo'd model wasnt that bad

My daily driver is my trusty '88 Festiva...but this year is probably it's last (as far as a daily car at least).

Current faves to replace it, depending upon my income level when purchasing:

2010 Ford Fiesta
2007 Kia Rio 5
Suzuki SX-4
2007 Hyundai Accent hatch

Notice all are small versatile hatchbacks that are easy to park, easy on gas, easy to insure, easy to buy and have a good sized cargo hold. Sedans are out because they hold so little.
The Kia is on the top of the list because it's cheap and reliable and good-looking imo, but if I can afford it the Fiesta is the next car.

Hmmmmm,,, or a VW Up! when they come out....or a VW jetta diesel wagon.....so many choices.
If need be because of money issues I will find another Festiva or Aspire.

2010 Ford Fusion
2010 Ford Fiesta
or if they bring the euro Focus RS over here like they keep talking about probably that. I have a Focus now with 90000 on it.It has been very good to me and my old ZX3 was too. My wifes 04 Freestar minivan has been exceptionaly well and has met our every need!! I kind like the look of the new Subaru Legacys too.

If everything works out as planned, I should have one of these sitting in the garage in the next 6-8 months. I'll be keeping the Audi for daily driving though.
