your "mixed products" success thread

even though it's not recommended by the manufacturer, what products do you have success mixing together and use? it could be anything...

p.s. i had nearly an empty bottle of both mothers fx spray wax and duragloss aquawax, and put them together in one bottle and it worked pretty well (probably won't do it again, but was just experimenting since they were both nearly empty)... :D

here's an example of what i'm talking about... http://autopia.org/forum/detailing-...p16s-carnauba.html?highlight=mixed+melted+pot

CG's Citrus Wash & Gloss with Z7. Great cleaning power, tons of foam for foam gun use, great lubrication, clings well when shot out of a foam gun, awesome gloss, and it helps prevent hard water spots.

CG's CW&G with DP Exreme Foam works well, too. Just not quite as cling-y, and not quite as good of lubrication, but the foam is amazing.

Menzerna 106FF cut 30% with Clearkote's RMG

80/20 blend of Meguiars #16 and Finish Kare's Pink Wax...proven to be quite durable even with all the rain we've had!

Pink Moose, a 50/50 blend of VM and RMG.

FMJ combined with a equal amount of LS. The LS seemed to dominate the mixture while spreading, the white carnauba would surface.

But still a easy on/off mix, with slick shine......

Let me add some emphasis to what Scott posted above. By far, my favorite combo is 106FF and RMG.
I like this combo alot as well. I'll use OP if I dont have RMG laying around. Adds alot of working time and a little cut.

What is LS?

Megs #16 and regular Natty's mixed 50/50. Looks great and lasts.

FK #425 with about 20% Duragloss #921 Fast Clean and Shine detail spray. Cleans and shines much better then #425 alone and is slicker too.
