Your favorite tire dressing?

I'm currently using CG's trim restorer on my tires and it seems to work well, but it doesn't seem to last that long and loses it shine rather fast (1 to 1.5 weeks, tops) requiring another application. I don't know if that is a good time frame or not for a tire dressing, but I'm open to other members suggestions and what their current favorites are.

So, fire away....what's your fav? :spot

I'm currently using Optimum Tire Shine. Nice look and good longevity - probably 2-3 weeks, but I've never really noted an exact timeframe between applications. I usually apply it once or twice a month.

Recently, I've tried Griot's Tire Dressing and their Vinyl and Rubber Dressing. Both of those are good. Last night I used 3M's Rubber and Tire Dressing. I liked what I saw after I put it on - a matte finish which is what I like.

I've order some Adam's VRT and should get that next week. Have not used it however, I've heard good things about it.

BlackPT

Poorboy's Bold n' Bright for me. After a few applications a few weeks apart it really seems to soak into the rubber and become even more durable(1 week of shine, 2-3 of black rubber, weather dependant).

Z16.

The only tire sealant (40 years of experience) that actually can withstand a 800 mile trip thru several showers. Great looks, cost effective (very little used per tire), not messy like tire gels, zero sling, never browns and a great compliment to the shine of a well-detailed and prepped finish.

I have 2x of the new Z-16 on the beater from a few weeks ago. I cleaned the tires really well before applying. Do I really need to scrub the tires again before I apply another coat of Z-16? Or will a quick wash with soap and water be fine. They are not "real dirty".

TIA!

Top of the Line Grape dressing, durability depends entirely on rain but up to 3 weeks.

Good to know; I just ordered a couple gallons!

My fav right now is the new Z16 also; it's incredibly durable and unlike the old version one application gives you a nice even shine.

I normally just quick wash with the residual of the paint wash shampoo (Z7). Since you applied the original coat on throughly clean tires, there is no need to remove the originally applied Z16.

I really like my Meg's GC regular gloss. I'm also liking the Long Haul Tire Seal that I picked up at Big Lots..seems to be lasting and is low gloss
