Your favorite sealant.. and why?

I'm a self professed sealant junky. I just wanted to see who else was and which one they like best and WHY.

My favorite (just out of over a decade of use) has (and will probably always will be) Zaino Z2. The "Pro" version really stepped it up a notch and I have to wonder if Sal can take it any further along. The competition is fierce these days. I find it easy to use, a little goes a LONGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG way and really makes a car look slick.

Not looking to start a flame war, just wanting to see what everyone else likes in case I missed one I haven't tried yet. :yay

UPGP as it probably is the easiest sealent i have ever used....wipe on and walk away. After it cures it has a nice warm glow about it.

I'm trying to get my hands on some, though I'm looking to trade some powerlock away rather than spend more money. :rofl

I keep hearing the Ultima Guard Wash is AWESOME. I need to get some to compare to Zaino Z7 (my favorite soap to date)

It's funny in retrospect, I won an Ultima sampler kit here at DC in 2008 but felt bad for El Camino Kid (now known as teck) for having connection problems so I told Troy to let him have it.

Now I want it! ha ha

I'm prob gonna be flamed or discredited for my pick, but I use Car Brite's Paint Sealant and have for years. Its the same stuff that Dealerships charge 500 bucks to apply for a paint protection package (which is a scam btw). The stuff is considerably affordable and lasts a very long time.

I will await your experience with that product. Especially regarding how much longer the polycharging extends the slickness factor of UPP.

Part of the reason I never tried UPP in the past was because I had heard it was a nice sealant but often read complaints about how it didn't hang well longevity wise. The polycharger version supposedly helps remedy this.

Don't really know about the protection longevity, but the slickness factor really dies off fast. When it first gets set up, it is as slick (maybe slicker) as anything I have used. Have not used Zaino, so I can't compare.

Alright. I'll try my best to post a review when I have time. A 1 year old baby, a wife that works a different shift than myself and the rest of life sometimes gets in the way. ;)

Hey, understand! Family certainly comes before these things. Just if you have the time. Surely there are others on the board that have used the new Polycharged version and they can offer their own thoughts and experiences. This thread might just give them the push to refresh their memory and post up.

Not to mention I'm fighting my insurance company! My wife's 5 week old 2010 NEW Jetta Sportwagen got rear ended by a 24 year old Mexican citizen with no US drivers license or insurance. His _FATHER_ has insurance on the car but they can't get in touch with him to see if he gave the kid permission to drive. -- If he did then HIS insurance will cover it, if he didn't mine will (and I'll be out my deductible).

ARGHHHHHH

Worse: The cop let the kid drive off, uninsured. Gave him 2 tickets (he had 2 from a prior incident too). He should have gone to jail.

Of the four that I've tried

PB EX-P is the go to

shine, durability, easy of use and price all point to why I use it.

Hello 1990's !!!. You put a smile on my face with this one. I've used a ton of this stuff (Paint Proof - comes on little bottles too). Decent, but there's many others that are way better IMHO. I'm with Mindflux, Zaino rocks!

I am stilling trying different products. I have used both BF WD and WG DPS. WG makes black black and glossy while BF provides a much warmer waxed look. They seem to last about the same time.

This is like asking what is better Blond Brunette Black or Red hair on a woman you are going to get a lot of different opinions and each one thinks his choice is the right one.

I try to refrain from getting involved in these so I'll just say do what Mike Phillips said find what you like and use it often.

I just started cleaning the selves in my garage yesterday of a lot of products that I know I will not be using.

After several years and wasting hundreds of dollars I found what is best for me so my search is over.
