List some of your fav combos and pads used for prepping. Also list some of your experiences with them (How easy to work with, What it can correct, How many passes, smell, taste ) haha just jokes about the taste, but post em.
Let me start off.
SSR 2.5 w/ Orange LC (bad areas) w/ Green LC (On those that are less bad)
SSR 1 w/ White LC (For finishing)
Pros:
Very nice combo and finish. I like the smell of them, it smells like gum or something like that, haha. and really easy to work with. I think that is can clean up lots of imperfections on the paint, if the SSR 2.5 on yellow wont do it, than step up to the bad boy called SSR3, which I havent tried. If The paint isnt so bad, SSR2 on a finishing pad or SSR 1 on a finishing or light polishing pad will correct and give a good LSP ready finish.
It is a really good cheap product!!! No wonder it is called poorboys!
Cons:
The only thing I don't like about the SSR 2.5 is that it does seem to dust alot and gum up the pad. So clean frequently or use lots of pads.
Menz SIP on yellow or orange (depending on how bad)
Menz 106FF on finishing LC
Pros:
Very good at cleaning and correcting, the SIP is incredible. The 106FF is also good at leaving a LSP ready finish (Not as good as 85rd) but if you want to clean more than 85RD, than in my opinion, 106FF on a finishing pad looks good also! Prolly the best polishes I've used.
Cons:
Expensive!!!! But well worth the price! Oh also and Dust
