Bret,

Nice article! Not to pick nits, but don't you yourself own a Saab 9-5?

Just kidding, of course, I am sure you are unbiased. Very informative and well written.

My original 1986 Saab 9000S (the first year of the model) rust bucket, winter queen was towed to the mechanic last night. Oil leak all over the engine the brake fluid light indicator on.

Saab has come a looooooooooooong way since then; ever since GM got a hold of them.

Great lease deals on them now.

I got a lot out of the article, Bret. Congrats. Have had a Saab 900S in my "fleet" since 1988. Taught both my sons to drive stick on it and still has the original clutch!

That was one of the best "Saab" stories I have ever read.. although I have heard a few... hehe;)

it was really good:up

how about an encore?
