Hey guys!



I just came over here to get some info and hang around to get some info on how to make my car look better. I'm an active member on SVTperformance.com and mustangforums.com. I have a 2002 Mustang GT vert, which happens to be black. I have a ton of swirls, but my SSR 2.5, SSR 1, Poorboys BLUE, and my other little stuff came in today. :getdown And I have a buffer so everything should come out right. Well, just wanted to say hi. Thanks. I'm trying to wait for a day when it's not 30 degrees out. If I have to wait until spring, thats fine by me. The car is in a garage and is not leaving anytime soon anyway. Can't wait till spring though. Then it's out for about 8 months. :woot2:

Because #1 it's not heated yet. So whatever temperature it is outside the garage is the same. And #2 because the car cover didn't come in yet so the car will just get dust all over it if I do it now.
 
You say you have a buffer...



If it's just some cheap buffer from WalMart or something, you may want to reconsider using that. The cheap polishers often have so little torque that they bog down if you apply any pressure on the pad. You won't get that "ton of swirls" out without some pressure.



And what kind of pads do you have to use with this buffer?



SSR2.5/SSR1/Nattys Blue should turn out fantastic. I also anxiously await your pictures.

Actually it's not a cheap buffer. It's a PC 7424. I have yellow pads, orange pads, black pads, white pads, and blue pads. Does anyone know what speed I should set the buffer at for this? I was thinking mildly high.
