Yellow road paint removal

What is the most effective way in which to get rid of yellow road paint from wheel wells and from lower door panels?
 
I just did a Tahoe about 3 days ago with the same problem - since I knew I'd be polishing afterward, I didn't mind any dulling I'd get from using my solvent. So that's what I did -used solvent. Clay can also work, but it was on too thick in this case. Also, solvent can tend to dull the plastic under the wheel wells, so try a spot first.
