yellow Clay

About a year ago i ordered some clay for the first time, it came an i feel in love with it. It eventually was used to its saturation point. when i ordered some more clay it came but it was diffrent (differnt co.). the problem was the first clay was the yellow clay and not the grey/blue stuff you now find. I liked the yellow clay much more, it didnt cruble and break like the grey stuff. I was wondering if anyone knows were i can still get yellow clay (the stuff adams carried about a year ago) I really want some as i likeit much better. Thnkx for any info

I think Chemical Guys used to have Yellow bars, maybe give them a call tomorrow and see if they have any left...866-822-3670

You can also call Nick at Detaliers Paradise, (800) 405-9970 I was in their store 2 weeks ago and they had about 20 bars of yellow clay...

I hesitate to state, after just reading posts about Griot's Garage, but that's where I got my yellow clay. I read earlier that Mother's is the same stuff only a different color.

search clay threads . . . you will find far more info than you need. if you are looking for clay like the old adam's clay, you will have a hard time . . but if you find some - get all you can.

Though its yellow, mothers clay is not like the old aldams clay that you are refering to . . .

I've yet to find a source for clay that isnt made by automagic because of their patent (Until 2008 or 2009).

But, my warning isnt about that. My warning is about clay marketing. There's a continuing trend to sell clay cheaper, and the way they are doing that is by selling smaller bars. Some are even as small as 50g! Make sure when you buy a bar you are comparing size in addition to dollars. Some vendors even have "multiple bars" for one price, when those bars total less than a real full sized bar.

yeah i second that . . . . i though i got a great deal one some automagic blue . . . turns out I got small bars . . . . great clay - my fault for not finding the best vendor . .
