YAY!!Meguiars NXT Tech Wax!!! Cant Wait

Hey guys, it is actually not in the pro line at this time. This formula will be distributed through the consumer line to start. By the way, NXT wax is actually a pure synthetic!

The good thing about NXT is that is will be easy to find and also affordable! The NXT line of products will include, Tech Wax, Spray Booster Wax, Tech Vinyl & Rubber Protectant, Car Wash and Metal Polish. The NXT products will be available after the first of the year. Samples earlier…

:bounce

The bottle looks blue in the photo but is actually a purple color.

The car wash sounds neat too, gona pick that up with the wax when the time comes. Anything that will help prevent waterspotting while im drying is golden for me :)

Yes, how are samples available, Id be willing to pay for a sample after seeing what it can do

Lynn, good to see a fellow OCer in here! Well, I'm a born and raised OCer anyway. Sure is hard to keep cars clean up in the great NW.

What's the word on the duration of NXT? Longer then Klasse/Zaino!? And what's the estimated market price for such a miracle?

I know, I came from Oregon last year but also born in OC.

Suggested retail price of $14.95 and yes, it'll hold it's own...;)

Oh, here's another photo all of the products that will be in the NXT line.

Is this Lab sample D and and then lab sample E that Mr. Phillips was showing us those amazing pictures to us with? Release date....Feb? I'd take a sample and give you feedback if need be, please. :)

I bet the tech protectant is a QD product with some amount of the polymer in it. The spray wax? Maybe more polymer? Just my guesses.

What is the difference between the spray wax and the tech protectant, in the photo shown above?

It's for Vinyl, Rubber and Plastic.

Kind of like a #40/Armour-All/303 product but it's supposed to,

* Work better

* Last longer

I have only tried it once on a piece of vinyl so I don't have much on an opinion just yet.

The Spray Wax is a synthetic paint protectant for fast touch-ups in-between regular coats of wax.

I like this product it does work good. You would use it like Meguiar's Quik Wax.

Quik Wax contains Carnuaba and I also like this product, but this new Spray Wax is completely made using all man-made ingredients.

Mike,

Can you share some details on the Tech Car Wash? I have for a long time used Gold Class Car Wash and recently switched to #62 Professional Car Wash which I like a lot. Does the Tech Car Wash act as a booster at all for the Tech Wax? Are they designed to work together?

Thanks

First of all, the Tech Car Wash is a color changing, or color shifting car wash. Not that this makes it better for washing cars, but it's pretty to look at in the bottle. (Sales appeal?)

In one type of light, you can see right through it, it's a clear purple. If you move your head and look at it from a different angle, it becomes opaque and the color changes to a more maroonish purple that you can't see through.

So it has that going for it, (kind of a semi-quote from Bill Murray in Caddyshack).

As far as cleaning ability, Tech Wash contains an ingredient that sequesters, (love this word), and encapsulates the two most common minerals found in your average wash and rinse water, Calcium and Magnesium.

By encapsulating these minerals with this Meguiar's engineered synthetic polymer, the mineral becomes less-able to deposit itself to the surface and thus leave a spot.

That's from the chemists.

Of course it offers all the features all other Meguiar's washes offer, non-detergent, conditioning agents for the paint, etc.

On of the employees I work with just purchased a Mini Cooper S and he has both the NXT Tech Wax on it and washes it with Tech Wash.

He told me last night, the Tech Wash is the Bom, (I hate that term/word, but that's what he said), he said he wouldn't use anything else to wash his new Mini.

I'll try to post a picture of the color shifting characteristic today.
