Hi guys - I know some of you have had some issues with XPEL Ultimate and Stealth in the past. I was wondering if I could get some opinions on how it currently stands for those that use it? I'd also like some info on your experience with their customer service.

Can't really comment on your questions but I can say that their self healing film was pretty amazing at SEMA last year! ;)

Self Healing Paint Protection Film - XPEL ULTIMATE Paint Protection Film

Both products are amazing, and they stand behind their product. Jeff Phillips at Xpel is great, and will do whatever it takes to make a happy customer.

A friend of mine who does higher end tint/film work used to do 3M and Venture and started playing around with Xpel when he did a Subaru for me. He's pretty much completely switched to Xpel now and won't touch Venture, I think he'll do 3M if someone requests it specifically but that's about it. Loves it.

I may have him do my new car when I get it. ;)

I have been installing paint protection film (clear bra) for a while now and have been using Ventureshield for the past few years with great luck.

Over the past 6 weeks, I have been trying out the Xpel Ultimate with self-healing properties and have to say that the film blows away Ventureshield in every aspect. It is a little tougher to install, but the gloss and clarity is the best I've seen and there is literally no orange peel.

We do mostly custom installs covering complete hoods, complete fenders & bumpers and it is almost impossible to see once installed. Of course it all depends on how good the installer is too.

Ill second that. Without a doubt the nicest film we have ever worked with and we tried them all.

I have put Ultimate on my car and recommended it for several customers cars and I think the stuff is great! I wasn't so sure on the "Healing" properties, but after seeing it for myself it does work! Minor RIDS can be removed with sunlight and or heat gun. Sunlight works the best on darker vehicles I've found. I always thought Ventureshield was the leader in clear bra technology but Xpel now blows that stuff away! My installer says that Ultimate is the easiest most forgiving film to work with! I have found that going over the film for a correction is very easy as with just a little pressure enough heat is achieved to remove defects. As seen in Ricks installs it truly is invisible! I would highly recomend Xpel Ultimate.
