Ok here is one my sister's car I did over the xmas break. With 2 little kids (8 & 10) this car is 2 years old now and hardly gets washed. At least it is garaged as it is the 2nd car. This car was rough as and had many marks in the usual places like door handles, side skirts and generally all over the car. The Clay bar really took car of 90% of the marks while the compound took care of the rest.

Process:

Nxt wash with Megs Lambswool washmitt

3M claybar with Nxt wash as lubricant

Dry car with Enka synthetic chamois and Megs terry towels

3M Perfect-II Rubbing Compound with Megs polishing pad

Megs #80 with Megs polishing pad

Megs NXT Tech Wax

Topped with Aeropoxy Clearcoat

Wheels and tyres cleaned with EO A2Z

Tyres dressed with Megs Hot Shine spray

GMC RO used with 3M compound and #80

Megs applicator pads for NXT and paint protection

Buffer and terry towel bonnets to remove all products and Megs terry towels for followup and harder to reach areas

One of my cars in the background I will be doing something similar with but using Menzerna IP and FP.

The wheels really came out better than I expected. I don't think they were like that when they bought the car.

Needless to say my sister and brother in law were absolutely wrapped, as were the kids.

That's it for now.

Thanks for the comments guys. I also did their other car a white '95 Toyota Corolla but the pictures do it no justice as the sun wasn't out and I couldn't capture the real defects in the paint before I started.
