Hey guys i posted up some flyers on some nice cars at my local train station. For anyone living in the northeast you know that we have had non stop rain for months..........well its over and normally only 1 person respondes to the flyer but im booked untill the 3rd week of July!!!!. So my first customer wanted his car done while he was at work so i had to pick it up from the train station at 4:30am. It was a ML55 Benz and his F355 that i had to wake my brother up and have him drive half an hour to meet me there because he decided he needed both done today at the last sec. A long story short i have never seen such deep swirl markes in my life, i just wanted to crash the car and report it as stolen so i would have deal with it lol. It took me 10 hours to detail the ML55 alone and now i have to drop that off and do the f355 this afternoon. O wait it gets better, as I am sitting down to check out the forums .......ring. He wants his porsche 356 done tonight because he is leaving for the hamptons and will pay double the normal rate. This is the start of the detailing 27 hour marathon, but i cant back down because he has so many cars and is going to be a steady customer (plus i made $800 of him in one day:) ). On a side note when presenting a customer there car keep it in your garage and wet your driveway so when you pull out it is coverd in reflections from the sun.

Hey, congrats on the good luck string!
It's funny you post this thread - I just detailed the hardest car I've done and it was a very high end car with the worst swirls I could imagine. It was a 2 year old S600 - BLACK. I even had to color sand the trunk. The car took 9 hours solid. I am working on getting the pics up on the boards for you all to see as well.

Here is what I have to say to these people - "If you are going to spend over $100k on a car, then please take care of it. Or better yet, let me take care of it."

Well boys i finished at 5am this morning, its funny when you go that long with out sleep you start to talk to the paint and curse it off hahah. I charged $250 for the SUV, 200 for the ferrari and double the price for the porsche 356 so i made 400 of that. The only trouble i ran into was the SUV was a pain in the ass and the ferrari had a scratch on the lower part of the spoiler that tore apart my Pad when i was componding. For some reason i still get the jitters when presenting a customer a car......and after speding the whole night detailing it if he said i did a bad job i would have killed him right there, im dead serious hahah. I start this whole cycle over in 2 weeks so i will be sure to bring a digital camera next time and sleep the whole day before that.
