Yep, this one takes the cake for me. Almost sent her down the road but I figured it would make for good before and after shots lol.

She said it was soda and food. My assistant and I stared at it for 5 minutes trying to decide what it really was. It was hard, nasty, about 1/4 inch thick and had rice bits in it. So whatever it was we put on the hazmat gear and went to work.

did u charge bio-hazard pay for that? lol i actually had to do that once, i told them i got to charge $100 bio-hazard because i simply dont know if me or my assisant will die from whatever all this stuff is that is growing in the car. needless to say i survived and my assisant ended up hurling a few times but we got the job done. dont sleep on bio-hazard pay.

She swore it wasn't puke so I didn't charge her extra. But I've done a few in the past that I did charge a "bodily discharge" fee of $75. I have a pretty strong stomach so it doesn't bother me that much. If this stuff was fresh and I could have proven it was vomit, I would have charged extra, but because it was so hard I though maybe it could be a couple years of soda and food spillage that got baked in the sun.

well................ i did a vomit detail before but i didnt charge extra i told the customer they had to buy a full interior job for me guarantee my work which was $150. man was he mad:mad1: his friend had threw up in car from partying on new years eve, but the kicker is i just detailed his car the day before for a full detail so it could look good for new years:clap1: sometimes the big man upstairs looks out for us detailers:lol

I once bragged to a customer, "Oh, I was able to get that fruit punch totally cleaned from your door panel."

Her response...

"Oh, my son threw up there about 2 weeks ago."

So nice to know ahead of time! URG...

Nice job, but I did one just about like that two weekends ago, only add a bunch of dog hair stuck in it to the mix. I had never seen so much hair in a car in my life, and came out of the detail covered in it.

One of the grossest cars we ever did was a Honda CRV where the guy was a chain smoker that hocked loogies into tissues and then threw them over his shoulder into the back seat. You literally could not see the back seat anymore, as it was covered in loogie tissues. We managed to find a bunch of stuff under the pile though, some that wasn't much better than the loogies, and some that he was looking for, like his cd collection.

We also did a car that actually had roaches in it once. It was weird to us that a car interior would get so bad as to attract them. We could see why they liked it though, as it was full of food and just gross.
