Worst Dining Experience

Tex Star Detail

Formerly TexasTB
Driving back from Missouri, my Wife, Kids, and I stopped half way home at a Western Sizzlin in McAlester Oklahoma. Couldn't wait to sink my teeth into some fat, juicy steak! All you can eat steak at that. Sure is a difference in the McDonalds crap the kids always want.

Anyways, we get inside, pay for the buffets, grab a table, and pile the food on the plates. We were right next to one of the buffet bars/tables. I needed fast access to the food!:D
Man did we ever sit in the wrong spot!!!!!
I was eating stew at the time, had my mashed taters mixed with corn, and the rest of the food on my plate.
I young boy walked around the buffet bar by my table and well, he tossed his cookies.......there went my appetite.
After the employees got done fighting with eachother on whi was going to clean it up:wall , some other worker came and slung a wet mop on it, which the others yelled at him not too.

(No wet floor sign was put up)
After he got ticked off, he put the mop back in the bucket and left. A few other workers got on the floor and started cleaning up the "tossed cookies" with rags. Which when they did, they set the rags on the edge of the buffet bar, next to the food:eek:  :passout: :passout:
I was done.....

The floor wasn't cleaned up that great, still had "tossed cookies" on the floor. Here comes a BIG guy, 300 LBS +, carrying a BIG plate of food. He stepped on the wet spot and down he went. Right next to me. Food went flying. landed on his back and hot his head on the floor.:surrender
He got back up, in pain, and had "tossed cookies" all over his back. As all the workers stood there looking, not one manager came out. He walked around limping and holding his shoulder. Me and another guy were talking and said he shouldn't sign ANYTHING. No wet floor sign was put up, so that is a win-win lawsuit right there......

I don't know about you, but I would be a little bit wealthier if that happend to me...:notme: :notme: :notme:

Oh, and when it was all cleaned up and I left, about 20 minutes after all of that happend, the dirty rags were still on the buffet bar.....:surrender :surrender

That's my worst dining experience.......

Chris

I'm with you I would have been done at the first sighting of the cookie toss....stood up asked for my money back and stopped at the first Mickey D's I saw:D

I'm having my breaky as I read this...umm well I don't feel hungry anymore :surrender

That should've been a letter or call to somebody. Any restaurant owner/ general manager would love to know about stuff like that. The food business is very service dependent.
