Is anyone planning on attending the Worcester Summer Nationals this weekend in Worcester Massachusetts? I will be there with the Street Rod...in a fresh coat of Blackfire!

During the day at Green Hill Park is very family friendly. In the evening everyone moves to downtown Worcester. For the most part it is all family friendly but most people with kids start disappearing as it gets dark.

There are a lot of car shows on 4th of July weekend... We usually go to Goodguys in Des Moines (over 3000 cars), but not going this year. A few of the guys in "the group" are having some financial difficulties this year, so we all decided to stay local. The Pittsburg (KS) show is a really good one so it will be a good substitute.:)

Enjoy your show and take some pictures!:cornut:

Sounds good Bill. I just wish that the guy running the Summer Nationals would sell it out to a sponsor that could get it some better national coverage. He is too greedy though! It's still a great time, there a lot of car...quanity mostly but some really high quality cars. I will try to snap some pics when I can and see if I can post them.

Enjoy your time there and don't forget to get some pictures to share with us here at TID......

Im sure I have many many pictures of swirls! I dont think people around have a clue how to take care of their cars. Maybe I could find a niche? Hmmmm...

Hey Mike... any car show with the word "Nationals" in it is usually a big show.

How many vehicles will be there? (I know, the more the better!)

I dont know any real numbers, I can only tell by looking at the registration numbers on the window tags. Last year I saw into the 6000's so its a lot. Granted people register everything from new to old, streetrods and muscle cars to rice burners and motorcycles. So its hard to judge how many "real" cars are attending.
