I want to know who has used their glass polish (Z-12) and their plastic polish and what the outcomes are. The reason is that I am considering buying it for my '02. :D

Zaino Glass Polish is a good product. :up Will remove films and some tuff water spots, but will not fix scratching that will require a more agressive polish. For best results apply by machine, otherwise you will have some sore arms. ;)

I've used both the Zaino glass and plastic polish many times. If used for their intended purposes according to directions, both work as well or a bit better than any similiar product I've ever tried. The problem I've always found with these types of things is that so many people expect way more than polishes are intended to do. The Z glass polish works great on glass that has been neglected and is covered with smoke film, road film, etc. I use it at least once a year as a spring clean-up step. It isn't a restoration product and won't remove scratches or pitting that require glass replacement. It is an abrasive and will take care of very, very minor inperfections, but I wouldn't expect it to do a lot more than deep clean the glass as a first step before using Stoners or Sprayway to give you the best looking windows you'll ever see.
Zaino's plastic polish works very well also, but the same cautions regarding expectations apply. If you polish your plastic lenses, etc each spring to remove the year's accumulation of dingey film, it will be a breeze to maintain the shine for the driving season. I was in a business for 18 years and we often had equipment with plastic lenses that had minor scratches and Zaino works as well as any of the products we used. When I started on my son's Prelude (see the Rescue Mission thread in Members Pictures), the previous owner had used some harsh cleaner on the dash and it just ruined the gauge lenses, which are large and expensive. With a lot of elbow grease and Z plastic polish, I was able to get the lenses back to where they look brand new. Sorry for the lengthy review type answer but would conclude by saying that as with most of Sal Zaino's products, you can expect a good solid product that, when combined with your own efforts, will product some fine results.

Great job on those lenses Dan. :up Hmmmm, maybe now I need to get some Z plastic polish to play with. :D

I agree with Dan, I use Z12 about once or twice a year to renew my glass surfaces when needed. Z12 easily removes spotting or films and leaves crystal clear results. I always use it by hand, but I imagine machine results would be even better. I also like to follow with Z2 which keeps glass much cleaner for a long period.

I recommend using the glass polish with a PC if you are planning to do a windshield or more. It's certainly easier and I think the results are better. I am going to have to pick up some of the plastic polish....damn....that is an amazing restoration of the plastic dash lenses!

Hi all,

Any comments on how Zaino compares with Autoglyms Glass Polish? I usually use E1 20/20, but have a bottle of Autoglym lying around. Thanks! :)

I'm not trying to hijack your thread but I got mine today also. I believe I ordered the same day. I'm in ohio.
