I'm now ready to enter my clerkship rotations. THis will be the second half of my medical school training. The first two years of medical school are spent in a auditorium listening to lecture after lecture. You download more information than you would ever be able to learn and then puke it all up for tests.
The 3rd and 4th year, which I begin August 15, will be spent in the hospitals practicing various kinds of medicine (i.e. 6 weeks of Peds, 12 weeks of internal medicine, 6 weeks surgery, etc.) I will take another board exam at the end of next year but, for now, I'm excited to enter another dimention of the medical field. I can't wait. A life-long dream is coming to fruition right before me.
