Wood trim. What do you use?

The wood is almost certainly cleared if it's a remotely modern car. The clear is like normal clearcoat except it's very thin and soft.

On my good cars I like some old (early 1980s) BHMA Interior Wood stuff, it was made for them by Zymol and appears to be a very mildly abrasive cleaner wax. Sorta like a paste version of VM. Other stuff that's worked well:

Gentle cleaning: Meg's #34 on a plush MF

Aggressive cleaning: AIO, cleaner wax, VM

Marring: mildly abrasive polishes suitable for hand use

Finishing: most any LSP that's compatible with previous steps

I've found that most cleaner waxes work well on both finished wood and the fake stuff. AIO works well, too. I've never tried it on wood trim, but judging by it's general characteristics, I suspect CK VM would work well, too.
