Wolfgang...

Well, I have the complete system, and looks-wise, it is gorgeous on dark colors.

PROS:

-looks great on dark colors

-easy to use

-a little goes a LONG way

-price/performance ratio

CONS:

-mutes metallics

-doesn't last very long

That's my impression of it. :)

How long does it last, weeks or months? Can you give a specific time interval. I'm particularly interested in the WG Deep Gloss Paint Sealant. Anyone else please join in..

I dont think it does mute metallics, EX for example does, but not WG. I have to disagree with that one.

The only wolfgang product I have used is their sealant, I love it and still use it...My favorite thing about it is the removal...it just melts off the paint. Look is good, it really looks nice on pure blacks and non-metalic dark colors. hope this helps.

I've got about seven weeks on a daily driver; washed weekly with WG Auto Bathe. Layering it helps, but when Zaino lasts about 9 months with one coat, WG isn't that impressive for a sealant.

And Richt, that color does look good with it. It muted both my Taupe Frost metallic and the Slate Blue metallic that I've tried it on. Compared to Z and s100, it definitely didn't sparkle as much, IMHO.

I don't think it mutes metallics that much, but other products certainly look better on them (IMO). It's a nice product, but the durability thing didn't impress me. To add to the pros:

-Beads like CRAZY

-Slickness on par with UPP

Klasse AIO

It's very easy to use, looks great, and is very slick. A great product!

I also use the WG Tire Gel. It's my favorite product on tires.

WGgel2.jpg

Deep Gloss Paint Sealant - very easy application/removal and initial slickness. The slickness lessened markedly after a couple of washes.

Tyre Gel - easy to apply, quite glossy and needed to be buffed after an hour, as it still "ran" slightly.

The only product I've used so far by Wolfgang is the sealant, even though I have the glaze, swirl remover, and clay. I just haven't had the opportunity to use them yet.

I can say that WG is definitely up there with my favorite sealants. So far, nothing has come even close to topping the way it looks and performs for my dark colored cars, both metallic and non metallic. Keep in mind, I have at least two coats on each car, and WG looks WAY better after the second coat. Durability so far has been 2 months and counting. After each wash I spray the whole car down with Sonus Acrylic Spritz (now replaced by Detailing Spray or Spritz or something, which is supposed to be better), and it rejuvenates the WG sealant very nicely. Here's my favorite shot of WGx2 in action:

In my experience, I have found 50% of their products to be average and the other half to be excellent

I really like the black diamond tire gel, multi purpose product, I always buy the 1/2 gallon container as it goes down pretty quick.

However I prefer SONUS tire & trim gel, it's that little bit better

The sealant is nice but nothing brilliant.

I like the Wolfgang twins, although I think AIO makes a better base (for durability). Easy on, easy off, more carnauba look than most sealants. I prefer to use it on solid dark colors but it is fine on metallics too. Like CMW, I don't think it really mutes the metal flakes, but it deepens the base color and the metallic may not be quite as apparent.

I get around 3 months durability with a single layer and regular QEW washing.

I've always applied the WG to the whole car and then let it sit while I seal the wheels and shine the tires. Then I go inside and wash my hands (often there's some tire dressing residue on my hands) and come back out to remove it. Then after I'm done removing it from the paint, I remove it from the wheels (with a different MF of course...a cheap one).

i have used the sealant and love it.

it does not mute metallics as i have used it my car as well as others,

i had applied wg 3-4 times within about 3 months and it was still beading and was still slick ( after a wash and QD ) for about 5 months or so, then it was time to break out the polish again :grinno:
