Wolfgang Uber Ceramic on Windshield.

I`m not a fan of it on the windshield, I installed it about 2 weeks ago and both times I have been driving at night in the rain there is a haze on it when wipers are off when you go under lights it takes away your visibility. With the wipers on its not as bad but there is still a bad haze to where its hard to see out of. So I`m going to compound the window out when I get a chance.
 
Interesting. I`ve been driving with an Uber coated windshield since last Fall and don`t have the nighttime issues you describe. Occasionally during the day I have seen a haze on the glass when it`s humid out. Hope you can get your situation fixed soon, driving at night with reduced visibility is not at all safe.
 
Only when it rains I have the issue. Other than that I haven`t had any issues.

I have not had that issue on mine. What do you clean your windshield with? I did notice that when I used WG Perfect Vision glass cleaner it had a negative effect on it`s performance. I then just clean mine with a plain IPA solution and all has been fine since.

Here is a little vid I took a month or two ago durring the day tho.
 
The first time it wasn`t cleaned with anything after the coating. And it did it. Then I did a rinseless wash and it acted almost the same. I`ll try an IPA and see what happens. If it`s still the same I`m buffing it off

That`s about how mine looks in the video but at night time it`s no good.

I don`t know if the glass was clean or not when I made the trip. I know I didn`t clean the car before I left since I was going to put 400 miles on it that day and some were around and over the Mississippi where bugs would be a problem. The 1st time I hit rain with the Uber on it I was simply amazed at how well it worked going through town at 30~40mph. The second time was after the WG glass cleaner which I believe leaves something after.

You may want to wait before you polish it off.

We were on dirty side of the storm. I know that I have a film of salt on windshield and car......

SO it may just be salt and a good wash may clear it up.
 
I`m gonna give it another week and see what happens. I leave to go to work in the Bahamas for a week. Then I have some free time, so I`m gonna correct the paint and coat it.
