Wolfgang Sealent longevity

Ive found like many others that Wolfgang SG is by far the best all around sealent I have ever used. But im still curious as to its longevity. I have applied it to my parents Toyota about 3 weeks ago and the rain still beads very well. Has anyone had on it their vechile for over a month yet????? Id like to know how its holding up

I've had it on at least a month. Not terribly impressed with the durability - slickness is off, not much beading, appearance has dropped off. Better than a carnauba but the Zaino'd areas seem to be holding up better.

Anyway, just my casual impressions after several weeks.

I am at 5 weeks currently and find the look and beading to be good. The original slickness is gone (that was phenominal) but reflectivity still looks very good also. Car is a daily driver, but garaged at night. I do use the Wolfgang Soap (twice weekly) .... and started using the new QD as soon as received. (I used the old one also, but didnt seem to make a difference) , Car has only seen rain twice lately, but beading was apparent and similar to P21S (small matched beads)

I doubt it will match Zaino .. but feel that it will match Blackfire, NXT, and might knock on Klasse's door. I want to add another layer however, as this stuff is so easy to use and I already did the wifes car. (changed from Klasse Twins)

Silver (Escort) daily driver - 1 month , one wash (still slicker than most products) still beads like crazy.

Black (Lexus LS) wife's daily driver 2 weeks old WG and one wash and it appears and feels just like it was just applied. QD'd both after washing (my normal between waxing protocol).:up

What I have found great about WG is its resistance to water-spotting after a rain ( my only problem with Z ). Even when the rain (it rained for almost a week everyday :( ) and was allowed to dry / evaporate - no damage or need to wash / QD to prevent etching. Also grime does seem to adhere very well so appearance looks good between washes. Amazing :bounce

Both vehicle are outside 24/7. Great product. :bow

How long will it last :nixweiss. I will apply a coat at least every 4-5 weeks. This stuff is so easy to work with.

I've had it on a few vehicles going on 4 weeks now and they look good, bead well with a QEW wash and still have pretty good slickness.

If it last 6 weeks, which it sound like it should, that will be fine with me.

There's no way I can go longer that 6 weeks without applying "something" to my truck. Perhaps after completing extensive psychotherapy I could exceed 6 weeks, but I'm not there yet!:D

I am on about four weeks and looks Great! Water is beading, slickness is great, I am very happy with the results and will continue to use WG

I have been testing it on two vehicles my own and my father in-laws. Mine is garaged at night and his sits outside 24/7 both have had Wolfgang applied to half of the hood , it's been about 5 weeks for mine and 4 weeks for his. I wash my truck weekly and QD it after everyday , nothing is done to my father in-laws. I rinsed and dries my father in-laws yesterday and there was no spotting after all the rain and the dirt came of with ease. After I dried it the slickness was atleast 95% as when applied The depth and shine where 100% IMHO. My truck is just like the day I applied it , obviously washing it and QDing it are a big help. I can easily see Wolfgang lasting for three months unless it just suddenly drops off. I am enjoying the wolf just as much as I first enjoyed Zaino but the Wolf is better in a few ways (ie application) but there is still one down fall , it attracts a small amount of dust unless you use the QD after initial application. Other than that the Wolf gets my vote over NXT , Blackfire , 4Star , and Klasse. It's still tied with Zaino in my book, but I can see it taking over my supply cabinet in the near future.:D
